          Biography of Edyta Anna Górniak

          Edyta Anna Górniak is a Polish pop singer who has been singing since the age of four.

          She made her debut on the big stage in 1989 on Zbigniew Górny's television program "Anyone Can Sing." In the same year, she was invited to participate in the "Debuts" concert at the Polish Song Festival in Opole, where she was recognized for her performance of the song "Zły chłopak" ("Bad Boy").

          Two weeks before the festival, she met producer Janusz Stokłosa, who invited her to Warsaw to audition for the musical "Metro." The success of the show, which premiered on January 31, 1991, rewarded her for the months "thrown out of life." Edyta, who played one of the main roles, became an idol of her generation.
